SHAVUOT-חג שבועות

SHAVUOT is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the anniversary of the day God gave the Torah to Moses and the Israelites at Mount Sinai.

this is a very happy holiday that our family love to celebrate together.
tis year we went to "NEVE SHALOM" - a cooperative village of Jews and Palestinian Arabs of Israeli citizenship.

the top photo is from a very special place - a Pluralistic Spiritual Centre
the second photo is from a trip to a hill and a monument for Israeli soldiers that were killed in 1947-8 - the War of Independence .

the third photo is from the holiday meal in Neve shalom hotel.

I made paper flowers that reminds me the red everlasting flowers.
those flowers are a symbol for the Israeli Memorial Day for the Israeli Fallen Soldiers and the Victims of Terrorism and is worn on ceremonies on a white shirt.


I cut and rotate thickers letters to form a Hebrew title means "shavuot".
love to use some leftovers nombers and letters for ths title.

פוסט פטריוטי הפעם.

בחג שבועות אנחנו אוהבים להיפגש עם המשפחה המורחבת.

כשאני אומרת מורחבת אני מתכוונת למ-ו-ר-ח-ב-ת- כלומר משהו כמו כמה עשרות אנשים .

יש לנו ועדת טיולים, ועדת חגים, ועדת תפריט ועוד ועוד.

אני , אם לא ניחשתם בועדת טיולים .

בחג שבועות האחרון בילינו בנווה שלום את החג. ארוחת החג היתה משובחת וכללה בדיוק את המאכלים שסבתא מרים שלנו זכרונה לברכה ממוצא לבנוני היתה נוהגת להכין לנו כמו קלסונס , סלט טבולה, מלפפונים ונענע ביוגורט ועוד מעדנים חלביים.

את הימים בילינו בטיולים באיזור שכללו גם טיולי מורשת בשביל להחכים את דור העתיד שלנו , גם טיולי טבע וגם הכרות עם הכפר.

נווה שלום הוא כפר קהילתי של יהודים וערבים תושבי ישראל והוא מיוחד מאד.

בתמונה העליונה בית תפילה , התייחדות והתבוננות לבני כל הדתות .

האקוסטיקה במקום מדהימה , ישבנו ושרנו שם וזה היה מדהים.

בתמונה השניה- תצפית מגבעת החתולות אל הדרך לירושליים וסיפור פריצת הדרך לירושיים במלחמת העצמאות.

בתמונה השלישית - ארוחת ערב החג.

הפרחים שהכנתי דומים במראה ובצבע לפרחי דם המכבים ולכן החלטתי לשלב אותם בדף לזכר לוחמי תש"ח שנפלו בקרבות על ירושליים.

הבטחתי שתרוא שוב את השוליים עם הטוש השחור העבה שהתאהבתי בו ושירבטתי בעזרתו גם את המסגרות לתמונות.

מה דעתכם על הכותרת?

ניצול גאוני בעיני (כן, בא לי לטפוח לעצמי על השכם) לחלקים שנותרו לי מחבילת טיקרס.

את התמונה הזו צילמתי לפני הרבה שנים בטיול בקפריסין.

אחי וגיסתי גרו שם לתקופה מסויימת ואנחנו קפצנו לבקר.

זה דף מלא במתיקות: תותים, בבושקות שגזרתי מדף מדוגם, משבצות, פרחי לב מוחתמים שקישטתי בסטיקלס וצבע פנינה תלת מימד וגם תגית שקיבלתי בהחלפת עצים מאילאיל והשתלבה כאן בצורה כל כך מושלמת.

את כל השוליים של הדפים הדגשתי בטוש שחור עבה - טכניקה שהתאהבתי בה לאחרונה וברושמה הבאה תראו אותה שוב .

פשוט ומתוק !!

hi everyone
first , I want to thanks all of you for the warming comment about my last posts.
I really appreciate every comment and love to read them.

this week I am a guest designer at ad this.
the ad for inspiration this week is one with an indian skirt so I took some photos of my dd wearing a similar skirt in a dance show at graduation party at school.

when I see her dancing I always feel so happy so I made a lo about it.

השבוע נבחרתי למעצבת אורחת בבלוג האתגרים ad this בהשראת מודעות.

המודעה השבוע היתה לחצאית בסגנון אינדיאני וזו היתה הזדמנות פז להכין דף לתמונות שצילמתי ממסיבת סיום חטיבת הביניים של אריאל.

אריאל היא רקדנית מוכשרת ומלאת חן וכל מי שרואה אותה רוקדת על הבמה לא יכול שלא להידבק בשמחת הריקוד שלה ולהתחיל לחייך.

אני יודעת שאני לא אובייקטיבית אבל היא באמת כובשת את הקהל ונדמה לי שכשהיא רוקדת העולם כולו רוצה להצטרף אליה ולרקוד.

זו היתה הסיבה לבחירת דף הרקע שבו כל החיות רוקדות ומתאים גם לתלבושת של אריאל שמזכירה מעט תלבושת של אשת מערות או לפחות מישהי שחיה בג'ונגל .

I stitched the circle border with a brown thread.
the calender flower is a stamp from UNITY August kom. I circled the date using stickles and I gleu the center circle using 3D glue.
I embellished the letters using rhinestones and distressed them with brown ink.
I doodled little circles aroud the photos to make a frame.

את שולי העיגול הגדול רקמתי ברקמת אקסים שתתאים ללוק הכללי של חצאית אינדיאנית .

הפרח שם התאריכון הוא חותמת של יוניט מקיט אוגוסט האחרון . את העיגול המרכזי הרמתי בדבק תלת מימד ואת התאריך הבלטתי באמצעות סטיקלס.

לכותרת הוספתי יישון בדיו חום מצד אחד וזוהר של אבני חן מצד שני.

את האבנים קניתי בשוק באשדוד בגרושים בחבילות נהדרות של קישוטים נדבקים לטלפון הסלולרי .

בכלל יש שם מציאות נהדרות אז מי שקרובה כדאי לה לגשת בימי רביעי לשוק בחוף הים ולחטט שם ( השבוע קניתי שם אותיות מדהימות מתנפחות יפהפיות).

הכיתוב הוא הפעם באנגלית כי זה הסתדר לי כהמשך לכותרת.

את התמונות תחמתי בבורדר מנייר וסרט גלי מלמעלה ובדודלינג עיגולים ביד חופשית משאר הצדדים.

אחרי שסיימתי את הדף חשבתי שאולי כדאי היה להשתמש לתמונות במאטינג שחור במקום לבן אבל זה היה יוצר אפקט שונה לחלוטין ומכל מקום התעצלתי לעשות שינוי.

את המחברת הזו קיבלה מיכלוש10 ליום ההולדת שלה.

מיכלוש היא מורה ומכיוון משאני אוהבת מתנות שימושיות ידעתי שמורה תמיד זקוקה למקום לרשום בו רשימות.

כדי שאף אחד לא יתבלבל החתמתי את האות הראשונה של שמה על המחברת והוספתי אלמנטים מוחתמים של סרגל ודפים תלושים בשביל שיהיה ברור שזו החברת של המורה וגם פרפר בשביל החמידות כי בכל זאת מיכלוש מלמדת זאטוטים בכיתה א.

Sweet and simple Unity FWF-אריאל ועומר פשוט ומתוק

A simple poto that my children took one simple day at home inspired me to make this lo.
I mask the background paper with flower chipboard and then spray some glimmer mist.
then I stamped lots of Unity stamps , made a doodled fram for the photo and handcut flowers from a designed paper.

סתם תמונה פשוטה של יום חולין שצילמו הילדים בבית ויצאה כל כך נחמדה הביאה אותי לעשות את הדף הזה בנושא פשטות

ריסוסים בגלימר מיסט מעל מסכה מאולתרת מפרח צ'יפבורד יצרו את הרקע שמעליו החתמתי המון המון חותמות

סביב לתמונה יצרתי מסגרת בהירה מצבע אקרילי עליה שירבטתי עיגולים בטוש חום

את הפרחים גזרתי במספריים מדף מדוגם ובשמיים הוספתי כוכבים מקופסת הניטים המוזמנחת שלי .

מזל שיש אתגרים שדורשים להשתמש בחומרים נשכחים...

friend forever - חברים לנצח

when I saw this week challenge at scrapping the music I immediately knew what I want to do.
Hubby and me met at the age 14.
He was the clever ,charmer,handsome boy in the school and he knew from the first minute we met that we're gonna be husband and wife.
I felt the song "friends forever" was perfect for a lo abaut our story and I choose a photo from 1985 when we were seventeen.

נפגשנו בגיל 14.

הוא היה הנער הכי הכי יפה חכם הכי ספורטאי בכיתה והוא ידע מהרגע הראשון שפגש בי שנתחתן.

היום 27 שנים אחרי אנחנו החברים הכי טובים ומתגאים ביצירה הכי הכי שלנו - המשפחה שלנו.

כשראיתי את האתר המוסיקלי להכין דף בהשראת השיר "חברים לנצח"היה לי ברור שזה יהיה הסיפור. (אני פשוט מסתבכת לשלב באותו משפט אותיות עבריות ולועזיות בגלל עניינים טכניים כאן בבלוג אז תירגמתי את שם השיר )

I love the SCARLET LIME kits and I love most their exclusive products.

September is SCARLET LIME anniversary month and they arse two years old!
September kit named Vintage Ruby is the most beautiful kit I have ever got.
It included scarlet lime exclusive papers and embalishments .
I got this kit some days ago and couldnwt wait to play with it.
here are two lo I made using this kit:

the first lo is for scrap-the-girls challenge to get inspire by a girly shoe photo. I choose to scrap an old photos of DD when she wear Daddy's shoes.

I sent this lo is also for cinema saturday creative challenge because the Vintage style and the blings go so well with the 50th 1950 black and white movie: "All About Eve" .

אני מנקה היום את השולחן מאתגרי ספטמבר.

שני הדפים הראשונים הם מהקיט המהמם שהיגיע אלי בשבוע שעבר מסקרלט לייםץ קיט וינטאג' מדהים שברגע שנחת כבר דיגדג באצבעות להתחיל לעבוד איתו. בכל חודש אני מתלהבת אבל לדעתי זה הקיט היפה ביותר שהם הוציאו עד כה.

זו היתה הזדמנות להכין דפים עם עוד תמונות ישנות.

הדף הראשון הוכן בהשראת סרט משנות החמישים ותמונה של נעלי נשים.

הלכתי הפוך על הפוך ולקחתי תמונות של אריאל הקטנה בנעליים צבאיות של כ.

הדף השני הוכן לנושא יום הולדת ובעזרת סקיצה שמיד כשראיתי אותה חשבתי על בית . מוזר היה לי שאף אחת מהדוגמאות שניתנו שם באתר לא כללו בית.

דף שלישי של עדי הפוזר שקשה כל כך להוציא ממנו חיוך נורמלי כשיש מצלמה בסביבה והוא חייב תמיד לעשות פרצופים בדיוק כמו שהיה אבא שלו בילדותו ( גם לכ. אין שום תמונה נורמלית באלבום בלי איזה פרצוף או "אצבעות קרניים)

הסקיצה פשוטה פשוטה והדף ריק יחסית אבל היה נחמד לשם שינוי לא להעמיס על הדף ולהשאיר המון מקום לכיתוב . מה גם שזה הלך מאד מאד מהר."
